JUNE IS PRIDE MONTH and SPC will be celebrating our LGBTQIA+ community in several visible and programmatic ways. On Saturday, June 29 @ 10, SPC will be hosting a first ever interfaith service of celebration and blessing to kick off Panhandle Pride 2019. This service will feature readings, music, stories, and words of blessing from faith leaders of various traditions. The Pride event begins at 11:00 a.m. that same day, where SPC will have a table. Please contact the office office@shepherdstownpresbyterian.org if you are willing to take a shift. July 7 we will celebrate More Light Sunday at both services; this year, we will remember together key moments in our “rainbow history” and share stories about how God’s infinite abundance has shown up in our ongoing journey of welcome to our LGBTQIA+ family.
